Lithgow is surprisingly close and easy to get to. Set at the crossroads of five major highways heading north, south, east and west, Lithgow is a popular meeting place between the Central West, the Blue Mountains and Sydney. This also makes Lithgow a perfect place to stay when enjoying the touring routes of the Greater Blue Mountains Drive, the Botanists Way and the Tablelands Way Experience.
We are a 140km or a two hour drive from Sydney. CityRail trains travel directly from Central Station in Sydney to Lithgow every 2 hours.
Finding us when driving.
If travelling from the East, turn right off the Great Western Highway, 300 metres west of McDonald’s corner or at the Visitor Information Centre. Look for the Blue Caravan sign.
When travelling from the West, take a left turn 6 kilometres after you see Lake Wallace on your left and 2 kilometres after the United Service Station on the western approach to Lithgow. Look for the Blue Caravan sign.
